Payments
We accept cash, checks, Mastercard, Visa, and Discover credit cards, as well as debit cards. We also offer a 5% discount if treatment is paid in full on the day of the appointment. We can also discuss a financial plan for your dental care.

Insurance
We want you to take advantage of any dental insurance benefits you may have. To that end, we have invested in the fastest online access to most insurance companies, which provides us reimbursement details within days. By being aware of and providing all of your insurance information before your first appointment, we can be sure to make the most of what your plan offers. If we receive an immediate response from your insurance company, you will only be asked to pay your estimated portion on the day care is provided. We will do everything in our power to make sure you receive the benefits to which you are entitled.
Do you take my insurance?
We are an unrestricted provider which gives us the freedom to work with just about any
type of insurance. Our obligation is to present you with a full array of the most clinically
sound dental health care options so you can make the best-informed choices. While we
believe the availability of dental benefits should never be the only reason to proceed or
not with your dental care, patients should know what to expect. We will determine
eligibility and may be able to determine anticipated coverage, as well as process claims
for services provided.
Understanding dental benefit plans can be complicated, there are several things we know.
- Dental benefit plans are designed to pay for some of the cost of dental
treatment. It is based on how much the employer pays into the plan and, the
profit margin and cost to manage the plan by the insurance company. Some
procedures will be covered at a percent of the fee proposed and some
procedures are not covered at all. - Many plans involve a contract between an employer and employee. Other
plans may be purchased by an individual through the health care
marketplace. Dental benefit plans are not based on what an individual
needs, rather there is a menu for the plan, purchased by the employer. - Do you know if you have a deductible? That is the amount of money you pay
before your benefit plan will pay for any services. It is paid by the patient
every year the benefits are renewed. - Coinsurance is cost sharing; the insurance company pays part of the service
and the patient pays part of that same service. The percent of insurance
company coverage is outlined in the benefit plan. - An annual maximum is the maximum dollar amount paid by the contracted
plan during the year. It may be a calendar year or another date range. There
may be separate benefits for orthodontics. These benefits may be paid in
two different calendar years. - Pre-existing conditions refer to dental conditions that you had before the
effective date of the benefit plan. Maybe you lost a tooth and want to look at
your options for smiling and chewing. There may be no benefits paid if a pre-
existing statement is part of your plan. - Coordination of benefits apply to the patient who has more than one plan to
cover dental services. Often, the second plan pays nothing if the first plan
paid any benefit. We can never determine this ahead of providing treatment. - Your benefit plan may cover only services that are determined dental or
medically necessary. Maybe a tooth broke eating popcorn and the filling to
repair the missing corner is provided. The benefit plan may state that tooth
decay and/or infection must be present to allow any benefit to be paid on
your behalf, no benefit paid. - A dental plan will outline frequency limitations. This is a non-negotiable term
in your contract. - There are several other insurance company cost control measures that may
apply to your benefit plan: procedure bundling, down coding, least
expensive alternative treatment and, non-covered service codes.
